Symposium submission
Symposium Structure
Symposium sessions will last one hour and 40 minutes and must have five, 15-minute talks, with five minutes following each talk for discussion. They consist of 5 talks on a common topic that are given by researchers from different universities/countries. They are an ideal opportunity to share recent findings, hear varied points of view, and discuss solutions with colleagues. Symposia are a way to advance research topics and have cutting-edge discussions among active researchers. There will be room for 30-40 symposia. In case of oversubsciption, priority will be given to symposia organised by ESCoP members and those with contributions from 5 different universities. Because symposia make up nearly half of the conference, ESCoP cannot give fee waivers for them (this includes the organizers of symposiums). Symposia are considered as an interesting alternative to regular talks. All presenters in accepted symposia are expected to register for the meeting and to pay ESCoP membership (https://www.escop.eu/).
Symposium submission will be opened on September 13th, 2021
Deadline of symposium submission is on December 20th, 2021
Notification of acceptance on February, 28th 2022

Abstract of the symposium (up to 150 words)
Chair: name, affiliation and email address

The format of a typical symposium is 5 speakers. The symposium proposal is expected to provide a broad spectrum of the issue being addressed both scientifically and geographically. When possible, gender balance is encouraged in the speaker’s panels. Participating in a symposium does not preclude the submission of an abstract for a poster (see below).
Your submission in two steps
- Submit your subject of symposium. Then you will receive a reference to log on your profile page.
- Submit from your profile page the 5 abstracts of your symposium, one by one.
